British Airways and Qantas Open New Business Lounge at Bangkok Airport

Qantas and British Airways today opened their new Bangkok Business Lounge overlooking the gardens at Survarnabhumi Airport.

The new lounge features:
  • 11 ample shower suites, immaculately appointed with fine mosaic tile and timber finishes;
  • A choice of three different buffet dining options;
  • A dedicated entertainment zone featuring plasma screen televisions, an extensive choice of newspapers and magazines, cafĂ©-style and lounge seating areas and comfortable leather banquettes;
  • A state-of-the-art business centre with 12 private workstations equipped with wireless internet access and high speed internet PC's. In addition, complimentary photocopying, printing, telephones, facsimile facilities are available, allowing customers to manage their business whilst travelling;
  • Power and data ports located throughout the lounge enabling customers to plug in their lap-tops or recharge their mobile phones;
  • A specially designed lighting system which changes throughout the day, responding to the different times in order to minimise contrast and put less strain on customers' eyes.
  • The new lounge area is 40 per cent larger than the previous lounge and the seating capacity has increased from 185 to 249 seats.
